Prohibition Original Gin

Prohibition Gin borrows it’s name from the early 20th century prohibition era when alcohol was banned across America. Gin, among other spirits, became a commodity tradeable on the black market and although this spirit is far from the hooch of that era, the bottle art on each of Prohibition’s Gins features imagery true to the era.

When tasting this gin, there’s a start, a middle and an end and the three flavours are distinctly different and the Prohibition Liquor Company have managed to create this gin that dances across your palate for a full minute.

Speaking of the bottles – they are hefty!!! (We had five exclamation marks on that originally but decided it needed toning down). But seriously, they weigh a tonne and are flat and square which gives them a real substance to them. Anyone building a new gin shelf needs one of these bottles.
