Karu Affinity Gin

While Karu is very much an Australian gin, Karu means bear in Estonian (among other languages) and Holly’s heritage harks from that background – their logo even has a bear print across it!

Affinity was named because they the Holly and Nick literally felt “an affinity” with this gin. They liked it when they eventually found the blend they loved. It’s been a pretty epic few years for the team at Karu battled bushfires right up to their doorstep, floods and then a pandemic. Despite it all, they’ve managed to build an incredible business in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

This gin is filled with Australian native flowers and spices. While it’s balanced out with a juniper start and a smooth almond and vanilla finish.
