Wolf Lane Tropical Gin

When Wolf Lane was described as a tropical explosion – we had our reservations when we imagined it more like a fruit cup than a dry gin but Wolf Lane is a delicate and delicious flour while also delivering on the tropical explosion in spades. We’re not even sure how you pack so much taste into such a cute bottle! (Nor did we know how we felt about describing something as exploding into your mouth but here we are…)

As with all our gins in Month 4 of the gin subscription, we’re here for the queen of the drink – the garnish. When someone told us that we should put dried mango straps into the drink, we weren’t convinced. We sipped it on a warm August afternoon and let the mango slightly rehydrate, soaking up some of the gin along the way, and the are absolutely comfortable in saying that the mango explodes in your mouth with gin infused mango goodness. This is now our favourite way of drinking a tropical gin!

Outside the garnish, this gin is a well-balanced, citrus forward (code for explosion) gin which we love on a summer afternoon – imaging that we’re in Cairns.
